Married to MoneySGT

Be frugal now so that you’ll be able to weather the storm that is coming

I’m not ready to talk about the new frugal leaf I turned over this week but I did it, in case you don’t see it in the pics below. Everything in between is a blur but here’s the start and end from our week at Tottering Hall.

Sunday night: watching Colgate basketball hoops with mommy. He loves basketball like he loves bacon and the ESPN interlude music. There was a lot of that while he was in utero, I’ll be real honest.

Monday night: he can multi-task–dinner al fresco and Mardi Gras practice.

Friday night: and wrapping up the week loving on his dad.

I am glad we made it to the end of the week. For our Friday fun day, we made a day trip to Austin with Becky. There really should be photos from the day–her sister’s beautiful bed and breakfast, her former brother-in-law’s new condo that is decorated like a sex den, and OJ having the time of his life at her son’s lumber shop replete with old fashioned country music, a “woof woof” (a dog) and lots of dangerous toys. But there are no such photos. There are also no photos of the fantastic conversation. But I’m not ready to talk about that yet, either.

And yet today WE WISH WE WERE IN DC for #Snowmageddon2016. Instead we were at IKEA.

I spent only $46 (#FTW).
